Denver

Here are some photos of downtown Denver. As you can probably tell, I like nighttime city scenes.

The D&F Tower has been a Denver landmark for over 100 years. At night, it’s lit with seasonal colors. This was shot near St. Patrick’s Day. This is a composite shot with the moon taken with a longer lens than the tower (on the same night), and digitally put in place behind the tower.

The Brooks Tower courtyard and D&F Tower at Christmas time.

The Denver City County building is also lit at Christmas time.

The D&F Tower and 16th Street Mall near the 4th of July.

Larimer Square has enjoyed a real resurgence with the development of lower downtown (LoDo).

Cherry Creek cuts through downtown. This Black-crowned Night Heron can sometimes be seen fishing in the creek.
